Students



Cornelissen Chris

Chris was born in Utrecht, The Netherlands. In 2010, he obtained his Master’s degree in Architecture at Delft University of Technology. In 2008 he attended University of Tokyo as a research student. He realized projects as Marathon Architects, and worked for VHP, Claus en Kaan Architects in Rotterdam and Cita: Architects in Utrecht.


Hansen Lasse Ryberg
BSc Landscape architecture and Urban design



Lasse Ryberg studied his BAc degree at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, with a small detour for one semester at Danish Design School in search of more creative design methods.
Before Lasse Ryberg started at Bartlett he previously worked part time in the Danish architecture office Holscher Architect where he was partly responsible for several landscape projects. He has also made several installations under his own name for festivals and got a project published in the newspaper.
Lasse Ryberg has yet to succeed with his greatest project to date - to map the best world’s pubs. So far his is doing his best in London and have partly mapped inner Copenhagen.

Jiang Chuan

JIANG Chuan completed his bachelor of architecture in Shenyang Jianzhu University in China. After 5 years study, he had a short work experience in CITIC ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN & RESEARCH INSTITUTE CO, LTD, BEIJING. Now he is studying urban design in Bartlett in London.


Jiang Weijiao

Weijiao Jiang studied Architecture at Shanghai University in China. Before that she was trained at “Qian Weichang College” in the same university for two years, where she gained a basic knowledge of science. She once interned at German IBO office in China, during which period she participated in the project “Urban Design Guidelines and Image Control in Yubei District Chongqing”.


Kim Chang Hyun

Changhyun Kim studied architecture at Kyungpook National University in Korea.
In addition, he had his own exhibition in 2008 which titled "a cuddle_ where the heaven embraces the earth."
Changhyun had first place in 6th Docomomo Korea Design Competition.


Lee Yanghee

Yang hee originally studied (BA)Graphic design for four years followed by 2 years in industry(South Korea).
In 2010 She completed an (BA)Interior Architecture and Design degree at Nottingham Trent University(England).
Following the completion of her degree she has been working for an interior design company based in Nottingham (England). Now she is in the (March) Urban design in Bartlett in UCL(London).


Matei Ioana Cristina

Tina Matei has a graphic design background, having studied at the York-Sheridan Design Program and worked for two years at Quizative, a digital marketing agency, both in Toronto, Canada. During this time she also began nurturing a passion for architecture, urban planning and urban design, which led to her decision to make a career change and study in the MArch in Urban Design at the Bartlett. Tina hopes to combine her graphic design background with new urban design skills and techniques, and ultimately become part of the fighting force for more sustainable and livable cities.


Poinsett-Hall Adam

Adam Poinsett Hall studied Architecture at Carnegie MellonUniversity in the United States. He has worked at architecture firms in Pittsburgh (USA) and New YorkCity (USA), where he worked on retail projects in Pittsburgh (USA), Jeddah (KSA), and Riyadh (KSA). Adam served as a Municipal Services Development Volunteer for two years with the United States Peace Corps in Paraguay, working with local community groups to plan and implement neighborhood development projects. In addition, he has worked as an Urban Planning Consultant for a non-profit organization in Paraguay where he conducted urban mapping analyses and strategic development plans for local governments.


Wang Sung Han

SungHan Wang did his bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the University of Seoul. Before being a master student at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Mr. Wang worked as an assistant designer at the HAEAHN Architecture, Korea. Also he served as a designer in the Urban Table of Actualized Architectural Arcadia.

In South Korea, SungHan experienced wide and diverse projects, such as Swan Interior in Anyang, I-tower in IFEZ, Modernization of Garak Market in Seoul, Children’s Science Museum in Incheon, and Sangnok District Office.


Ye Wei
BA Environmental Arts and Design

Over the past thirteen years Wei Ye has worked for twolandscape design companies and one interior design company; he has beenresponsible for various tasks and every stage of design process.
1998 – 2002, He was a Senior Interior Designer work atHY Interior Design Co. Ltd
2002-2006, He worked as a Senior Landscape Designer atJY Design Planning Inc. (Shanghaibranch).
2007-2011, He worked as a Landscape Architect and 3DVisualiser in Landsape Architecture-Grontmij.
Currently he studies MArch Urban Design at the Bartlett School ofArchitecture, University College London.



Zhang Yue
M Arch


Yue Zhang is currently studied the Master of Urban Design in Unit 4 at the Bartlett School of Architecture. He holds his first Master of Architectural Design degree from the Bartlett as well as a Bachelor of Architecture degree in China. He previously worked with ESS International Design and Urban Architecture, Tongji.




Zhu Tianke
BA(Hons) Architectural studies

Tianke Zhu studied Architecture at University of Nottingham in the UK. After completed Bachelor’s degree in Architectural studies, Tianke is currently studying MArch Urban Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. He published one academic article about humanity influence on the design of waterfront at journal ‘Urbanism and Architecture’ in 2010. Tianke won the First Prize of a urban design competition, Zhengzhou Yinghe Bay design in 2008.
Tianke previously worked for Atkins Consultants and Urban Planning and Design Institute of Nanjing University in China. He was involved in the architectural and urban design projects, including Changzhou Wedding Celebration Street Design and Planning in China, Zhengzhou Yinhe Bay in China and Shanghai Meilong Complex, currently under construction.
